Arklow FETC Launches New Computer Skills Course – WicklowNews

Arklow FETC is preparing to launch the new ICDL award in January 2022 (formerly ECDL). This course focuses on digital skills for employability and productivity, helping students learn a variety of digital skills and earn digital badges as they progress through individual modules.

These modules will help students gain experience in the key skills required to use technology effectively.

ICDL Workforce starts with the Essential Skills modules which form an important foundation for many other ICDL modules. The Office Applications modules develop skills commonly used in professional life. These skills are complemented by the Best Practices modules, which ensure the safe, legal and productive use of technology in the workplace. ICDL Workforce is designed to develop and certify the digital skills necessary for the modern workplace.

Arklow FETC will offer a range of options for studying during the day or evening at our center in Fernhill Plaza.

If you see yourself improving your IT skills to prepare for a job or going back to school, apply online at www.arklowfetc.ie or contact:
