CBSE Class 12 Physical education Program 2022-2023: Physical education is one of the most popular subjects among students in class 12. A number of students sit for the Physical Education Board exam every year. Physical education is not only important for physical or mental fitness, but it prepares individuals to set achievable personal goals in life and strive to achieve them. Therefore, it is considered as one of the important subjects offered in upper secondary classes. Here we have provided the CBSE Class 12 Physical Education Syllabus for the current academic session, 2022-23. This program is consistent with the annual assessment. Unit III Yoga as a preventative measure for lifestyle diseases

V-unit sports nutrition

  • Food and nutrition balance concept
  • Macro and micronutrients: sources and functions of foods
  • Nutrient and non-nutrient components of the diet

Unit VI Test and Measurement in Sport

  • Fitness Test – SAI Khelo India School Fitness Test:

o Age group 5-8 years old/class 1-3: BMI, Flamingo Balance Test, Plate Tapping Test

o Age Group 9-18/Class 4-12: BMI, 50m Speed ​​Test, 600m Run/Walk, Seated and Hand Reach Flexibility Test, Strength Test (Partial Abdominal Flexion, Push-ups for boys, modified pumps for girls).
