The NYU Abu Dhabi Science Division (NYUAD) is inviting applications for tenure-track/tenure-track faculty positions under its Computer Science program. Multidisciplinary research and exceptional teaching in a highly diverse and inclusive campus community are hallmarks of the University’s mission. Faculty in NYUAD’s Computer Science program are highly collaborative and pursue cutting-edge, highly interdisciplinary research. Their internationally renowned research projects are in areas that include, but are not limited to: artificial intelligence; bioinformatics; cyber security; computational geometry; computational social sciences; the interaction of human data; information and communication technologies for development; natural language processing; and theoretical computer science.
There are many opportunities for collaboration within the research centers, which include the Center for Cybersecurity, the Center for Interactive Urban Networks (CITIES), the Center for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (CAIR), the Center for Genomics and systems biology, the Center for Quantum and Topological Research. Systems, as well as with professors from the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences and the Tandon School of Engineering at NYU New York.

The openings available are at the rank of assistant, associate and full professor (tenured/tenure-track). Applicants must hold a PhD and demonstrate an outstanding track record for their career stage, both in research and teaching. This includes having publications in leading peer-reviewed journals or conferences, as well as experience or potential to lead research projects and secure research funding. As part of a multi-year hiring plan, we are interested in great candidates in all areas of IT, including but not limited to areas where we have current strengths.
Successful applicants will receive a generous start-up package, as well as revolving research funding to hire research assistants and postdocs, and will also have access to internal funding. Additional research support includes access to high performance computing facilities.

This position requires a Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related field.
