Hiring and new data science center for RealityMine

Manchester, UK-based mobile device surveillance specialist RealityMine will launch a “Data Science Center of Excellence” and announced three new hires: Joel Ansbro in the Data Engineering team; Louis Ruston in the applications team; and Mason Chee on the Data Products team.
RealityMine helps MR and media organizations monitor real-life consumer behavior across multiple devices across multiple platforms, via “RealityMeter” software that can be deployed on Android, iOS, and desktop platforms; and a series of “RealLife” data modules that support data-driven decisions by corporate clients.
The new Center aims to “improve [the firm’s] market leading position in the measurement of iOS applications / applications”, continuously improving the RealLife modules which include Events, Checkout, Profiles and Shopper. Six-year company veteran Adam Lees (pictured), currently Data Scientist Lead, will now also lead the Centre.
Ansbro, which is currently studying for a master’s degree in computer science, will work on maintaining and improving the pipeline that provides reports to customers; while Ruston, an electronics engineering graduate, will focus specifically on iOS apps. Chee will work on data stream processing and analysis, and brings a degree in mechanical engineering.
