New Computer Driving License course with the GRETB Training Center

The GRETB training center now offers a fully funded International Computer Driving License (ICDL) course, formerly ECDL. This course starts on November 15th and lasts 20 weeks, including four weeks of internship.

The tutor-led course equips you with the skills, knowledge and skills to use a wide range of software applications on a computer and achieve a qualification in computer science recognized around the world. ICDL (renamed ECDL) offers a practical program of up-to-date skills and knowledge areas that are validated by exams.

The ICDL course will run from Monday to Friday. The course includes an internship module. The internship can be done in any office situation where learners have the opportunity to develop their practical skills. This proved invaluable in securing employment upon completion of the program.

You can find jobs in a range of clerical / administrative positions in IT and other industries. Certification to use devices and tools confidently and productively is an effective way for learners to set themselves apart. A significant number of former learners work in various office environments, reception areas, etc.

The ICDL certified course modules are: Computer Essentials, Online Essentials, Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Presentation Skills, Database Use, and Computer Security.
